Mission Statement

At Little Stars OT, we are committed to the holistic development of children, igniting their potential and lighting the path to their brightest future. Our mission is to empower children to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential through the power of play. We embrace the uniqueness of every child and family, and tailor therapeutic input to each child's strengths and challenges.

But our mission goes beyond therapy; it's a collaboration. We work closely with parents, schools, kindy's, day care settings and healthcare providers, creating a supportive environment that extends into every facet of a child's life. Our vision is to make therapy an enjoyable journey, aligning with the family's goals and transforming your child's occupational therapy into an exciting adventure of learning and achievement.

What to expect at your first appointment

We start by meeting your little person and parents/caregivers to complete an 'Initial assessment'. This helps us to identify your child's strengths and areas of difficulty within the home, educational or community environments. A range of standardised and non-standardised assessments and observation will be used. With your consent, we gather information from other relevant stakeholders e.g. educators, medical practitioners and allied health providers. Copies of previous reports from these clinicians can also provide valuable insight into your child's developmental profile. All of this helps us to figure out how we can best support your child to achieve their goals!

We look forward to meeting you and your child!
